Since this is the Debates and Serious Discussion forum, all topics of such nature can belong here. However, one should post here with the understanding that although this is an online community, there are real people behind these user names with feelings and their feelings as well as their opinions should be respected. Sensitive people are advised not to post in this forum or better yet, to ignore it entirely but this is not mandatory.
Just about all kinds of topics are allowed here but let's try to avoid topics that are of a sexual or highly violent nature, as this is a gaming community and members of all ages have access to it.
Also, please be careful of how you word your posts. Although at times, you may feel that you are not intentionally trying to offend or hurt members, sometimes the wrong wording can give off a negative tone and evoke such hurt feelings. If there is a post that causes confusion, please send a PM to that member and discuss the matter privately.
In addition, if there are certain topics or subjects that a member wishes not to be brought up, please respect his/her feelings on that matter. I've had to lock up a couple of topics here in the past because someone failed to respect the feelings about the matter and brought up certain subjects that were best left not to be brought up.
If any of the above are violated or we feel that any of the threads in this particular forum are going down a path that will eventually cause anger and/or hurt feelings, the admins and mods have the right to do one of the following:
1. Post a warning in that thread for it to cool down.
2. Send PMs to the parties involved warning to let the matter die down.
3. Locking up or deleting the thread if it causes too much controversy. (This can apply to deleting posts within a thread as well.)
