| Snow Rose Games' Dedication to its Members
Here at Snow Rose Games, we dedicate to our members the commitment to provide high quality, fun entertaining games for all to enjoy.
We make a simple promise to all those who register and become members of Snow Rose Games (SRG). Because we understand the importance of freedom of expression, we pledge that all opinions-whether positive or negative-can be voiced openly on our forum. We only ask that those opinions be expressed respectfully, as we have a wide variety of members from varying backgrounds. This means not becoming upset if someone expresses an opinion that is very different from your own. Sometimes misunderstandings happen, in which case, they would be better settled in PMs, or in certain cases, mediated through moderators or administrators, as necessary.
In addition, we pledge that privacy is very well-respected here at SRG. Any messages used by our private messaging (PM) system will stay private between the sender(s) and recipient(s). The administration and moderators do NOT have access to PMs in any way. We believe that privacy is very valued and must be respected. (This point is brought up because on other sites, the PM system isn’t always 100% secure. Members here should be very wary of any such site that uses a PM system but does not promise that such messages will stay private. However, at SRG, PMs will ALWAYS stay private).
If there are any disputes that happen on the forum, please first try to have them settled through PMs among the parties involved. However, if the problem can’t be settled, then the issue may be brought before a moderator or an administrator as necessary. Please send a PM to a mod or admin if such need arises.
In the case of the PM system, if such an issue arises-for instance, a member is harassed through PMs, then please take the following steps (as mods and admins do not have access to actual PMs):
- Settle the problem privately with the parties involved first.
- If the problem isn’t settled, then take a screenshot of the PM and try to mark the date and time that the problem occurred. Upload the screenshot to an image hosting system such as photobucket.
- Then send a PM to a moderator with a link to the screenshot of the offensive PM and detail the problem and he or she will settle it right away.
- If the moderator is unable to settle the problem or the issue involves a moderator, then send a PM to an administrator and detail the problem along with a link to the screenshot. The administrator will then mediate the dispute and hopefully resolve it to all parties involved.
